Here, summerized in a comedic form, is The Epic of Gilgamesh.

I borrowed the idea, with permission, from the wonderful Evadane_Noel who shared her Breadboxes on Fanfiction.net and later, Livejournal.

So, sit back, grab some tea and enjoy my shortened, sarcastic, and interesting version of The Epic of Gilgamesh.

Notes: I use mostly a translation of the text by Maureen Gallery Kovacs. She does not add Tablet 12 to the work because it does not fit with the original epic. Enkidu is still alive for one (he dies in Tablet 7) and sent by Gilgamesh into the underworld.

I have decided to also omit Tablet 12 from my Handbasket.
